PEER Link

NAMI Jacksonville is offering free peer support in Baker, Clay and Duval counties, for individuals impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene through the Recovery and Resiliency Project funded by the American Red Cross.

This program is led by a team of individuals who were also impacted, which enables them to support, advocate for, and empower individuals to meet their mental health and related needs.

Beginning May 14, my office hours in Baker County will be
every other Thursday, from 10 am - 2 pm
at the Baker County Community Resource Hub (FL Dept of Health).
Drop-ins are welcome.

Clay and Duval Counties are by appointment only.

To learn more about workshops or schedule with a peer, contact Aaron McCrocklin: a.mccrocklin@namijax.org, 904-420-0892.

If you are involved in disaster recovery, community outreach, or related work, I would welcome any suggestions about how this program could best support the community.

If it would be helpful, I would also be glad to connect, observe your work for a day, or volunteer alongside your efforts to better understand how I can contribute.
